Today turned out better than planned.

I woke up late but actually felt like I had slept. That doesn’t happen that often. I woke up with the start of a cold but I’m used to constantly having to blow my nose due to allergies. I hope that my headphones last throughout my walk because I forgot to keep them charged up again. They only got a half an hour charge before I left my flat when they need to normally be on charge overnight. They’ve gone down a segment after just half an hour walking. I’ve lost weight again. 75.2 kg tonight which in stone is 11 stone 7 lbs. It’s an achievement but not as much as it sounds to me. I was that weight when pregnant a decade (nearly at full term). I also got my open university higher education certificate through the post today. I haven’t opened it yet but from the envelope I know what it is. I was on the way out when I checked my mailbox. I have also changed my hair again. I put more of a rinse on it (only left it to process for 10 minutes otherwise it would have been too intense and wouldn’t have blended it into the blond lightened parts).

Author: Diary of a Painfully Shy Introvert

A blog written by a female diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome but suspected PDA in more recent years. Musings of a Trainee Battleaxe was created to not only create awareness of the PDA part of the spectrum; but also to educate the public hopefully creating understanding in order to stop future generations being let down and labelled negatively. Disclaimer: There may be parts of this blog which viewers may find upsetting as it contains accounts of real life events which have been quite traumatic. However, it is all to help create a sense of understanding and combat the fear surrounding all aspects of mental illness and Pathological Avoidance Syndrome (a very little understood part of the autistic spectrum).
