Hot, tired and fed up.

I went back to the gym today. I can’t say that I enjoyed it but the air conditioned environment was nice to be in for a few hours. I looked in the mirror and realised that I have hair to shave off my face above my lips again. I only did it last week but with the hot weather my skin peeled (despite having spf moisturiser on) to reveal more hair underneath. I swear that my hormones are malfunctioning. That is what you get when you’re near menopause etc. I am lucky that my hair around that point is fair so it is light enough to not see unless up really close. This is the first year that my hay fever has been so bad that it has hurt my throat on one side. It is fine when my head isn’t full from allergies. That prescription strength new over the counter product does work. That used to be prescribed to my dad for his allergies, I remember the tablet colour. The previous antihistamines available in the shop didn’t touch my hay fever in the past. I ended up with kind of a tan but it isn’t great. I literally look yellow on my face due to how naturally pale I am.

A blog written by a female diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome but suspected PDA in more recent years. Musings of a Trainee Battleaxe was created to not only create awareness of the PDA part of the spectrum; but also to educate the public hopefully creating understanding in order to stop future generations being let down and labelled negatively. Disclaimer: There may be parts of this blog which viewers may find upsetting as it contains accounts of real life events which have been quite traumatic. However, it is all to help create a sense of understanding and combat the fear surrounding all aspects of mental illness and Pathological Avoidance Syndrome (a very little understood part of the autistic spectrum).

  1. You’re much too young to be even slightly menopausal; give it another 20 years for that! Could be something like PCOS though, maybe.

As for the hairs, probably best to see an electrologist about them to get rid of the annoying little buggers permanently.
